After a few hours removing the wings I finally got on the road with only 30 minutes of daylight remaining. A few drivers gave me funny looks after seeing my strange cargo. A trucker carrying a load of cars pulled along side to get a better look. As I exited the highway, the trucker blew his air horn and gave a friendly wave. When I got back to my hotel, a few people noticed and came over to ask questions and take pictures. I'd imagine it was quite a sight to see! Since I was staying a Disney resort, I got the idea to add some Disney spirit to my plane. I took a sunshade, some blue foam and a black marker and made some eyes for my plane, so that it looked like it was from the Disney movie Planes. I think it turned out pretty well. Unfortunately, my roommate had previously used all my duct tape and I only had some scotch tape to put everything together, and it didn't last until the next morning. So sadly, I don't think any young movie fans got the opportunity to appreciate my work, but I still had a feeling of accomplishment.
